Jaime has been professionally involved in the building industry since 2006, when he joined Hager Group, the family-run home building company. Early in his career he had a realization: Many of his clients that were customizing their homes wanted to personalize their entire environment, down to every minor detail. They wanted something unique for their newly renovated homes, and Hager wanted to be able to help them celebrate their originality.

Over the last three years they have had the opportunity to connect with many talented individuals who share their same love of originality, art, and design. In that time, they have also recognized a need that was going unfilled. There was a disconnect between the consumers’ desire for custom, quality furniture and decor, and the makers who could deliver on those desires. 

Studio Hager is their solution, acting as a conduit between the customers and the impressive design community in this city. Their goal is to establish Edmonton as a city recognized for its innovative design and quality and to provide a platform for artists and makers to be able to pursue their passion full time.
