Glen Ronald is known as The Chaos Whisperer, which makes a lot of sense when you see his work.
What begins as drips, splatters, and paint pours becomes beautiful, detailed works of art that communicate not only concrete images, but also a variety of emotions that the viewer is free to interpret on their own.
Glen walks the line between intentional and accidental, allowing “chaos” to lead the way with random spillings of ink and paint, and then making strategic decisions to pull it all together. As a result, his works combine both realism and surrealism at once.

Much like his artwork, Glen’s path to being a professional artist wasn’t exactly straightforward. Though he is an artist to his core, his career path meandered from microbiology to steel working, and even to teaching overseas. All the while, he was painting, and people began to take notice.
Today, he creates some of the most sought-after artwork to come out of Edmonton, captivating local and international audiences alike with his chaos paintings.
