They say necessity is the mother of invention, and in the case of Clo’s, that was true.
Kyle Closen, the founder and namesake of Clo’s General Leather Co, started leather work simply because he couldn’t find the perfect belt and wallet. He quickly discovered both his love and aptitude for leatherwork, and in 2014 he turned his hobby into a career, designing and hand crafting leather goods for the people.

Among the treasures that can be found at Clo’s General are leather gloves, duffle and messenger bags, belts, backpacks, and even custom motorcycle seats. Clo’s also collaborates with other designers on one-of-a-kind projects, including an upcoming partnership with Iron Elements.

He draws inspiration from his family’s dedication to their craft, combining his roots with his own sense of creativity to create beautiful leather goods that are made to last a lifetime.
