Cass Miller is a multi-faceted artist and owner of Studio YEG ART,
Studio YEG ART is a gallery and shop that both promotes artists and artisans in the gallery and inspires people to get creative by offering a variety of workshops. She studied art and education at the University of Alberta and has been painting as a commissioned artist since 2012, and her deep love of art in all its forms is apparent in everything she touches.
When it comes to her own art, Cass is inspired by Alberta’s truly diverse vistas of mountains, plains, foothills and forests. She works primarily in acrylics and oils on canvas, creating vibrant, playful landscapes that bring colour and movement into any interior.

Life is a fleeting gift, urging us to embrace every second, seize each opportunity and embark on an extraordinary journey.This collection was inspired by our own leap from the cityscape to the tranquil embrace of a tiny house nestled in the countryside. As we navigate the winding roads of life, we often carry preconceived notions of how we should live, the lifestyle we should lead. Yet, it's in the small moments, the spontaneous laughter, and the simple pleasures that life becomes truly worthwhile.
In this art show, I invite you to join me in celebrating the audacity of living, the beauty of change, and the joy of embracing the unexpected. The series I present to you is a testament to living life to the fullest. With loose, bold brushstrokes, I have used acrylics and oils on canvas to infuse each piece with a vibrant and expressive quality, a nod toFauvism, which revels in the unrestrained use of colour.
