Mark Coley
When Mark Coley began his career, he knew two things:
he wanted to work with great people, and he wanted to have fun. Fortunately for him, that’s exactly what happened.
A number of Mark’s friends in the design industry convinced him to take up carpentry in {YEAR}, and he quickly discovered the joys of transforming ideas into beautiful finished products. Whether he’s building toboggans, boat houses, or boardroom tables, Mark finds satisfaction in working closely with clients to help them realize their vision.
“Mark’s style is rooted in a deep appreciation of the natural world”
Each new project presents exciting challenges that push him to think creatively as he works to deliver unique pieces that effortlessly fit into a client’s life. With every new hurdle, whether it’s learning specialized building techniques or working with rare materials, his enthusiasm for developing and honing his craft only gets stronger.
Mark’s style is rooted in a deep appreciation of the natural world and he draws inspiration from the collaborative process and the many talented carpenters he works alongside. His work is clean and contemporary while allowing the elemental beauty and rustic qualities of the materials he works with to take centre stage. It’s a balancing act that not many can pull off, and his work is all the more impressive for it.
